CAG SLAM 1K - Up Up & Away


There was a small 5 round 1000 pt tourney on a SUNDAY for heaven's sake...I went.
I took my girls with me because it was a Comic store and they would enjoy the atmosphere and pick up some comics.


Only 4 players (including me) showed up. 3 Martial Law members and the brother of a member.

The missions were good.

The scoring was great. I liked the system he used.

The rounds were 1 hour on 4x4 tables...pretty fast paced.

I couldn't crack his Battlewagons or get through the KFF...oh well.

Dickie is my NEMESIS in the club, I think he is 2 games ahead of me.
Today I brought too much firepower for him to handle.
He lost both DP's on the first turn.
The last pic shows his last model on the table, contesting the Major Obj. I couldn't pop him...

Game 4 vs Orks:
Breakthrough

I got mine all off on turn 1, he got his off by turn 3. We were playing a draw game after turn 3. Oh well.

Game 5 vs Chaos Nurgle:
The end is near
Scattered Pitched Battle - Deploy on a die roll, left, center, right. Infantry must exit through 1 of 4 Portals.
20 BP - Destroy all units AND All Infantry exit
15 BP - Destroy 50% AND have 50% Infantry exit OR All Infantry exit
10 BP - Have 50% Infantry exit AND 2 KP
5 BP - Have 1 Infantry exit AND 2 KP

Almost a repeat of game 3...he lost both DP's early and couldn't handle my firepower.
After turn 2 he couldn't get a win and couldn't stop me from getting a win.

1st place and some excellent prize support for the entry fee and number of players.

The girls picked up some comics for being so good all day.
