1500 pts vs Deathwing

I got a practice game in against the Deathwing, 1500 pts prep for a Tourney in a few weeks.
All I can say is WOW!
When you see the 25+ Terminators across the board you kind of don't know what to do...

My third game of the day was against a club member/teammate/adversary. We seem to play each other the 3rd game quite often. He has won Best Painted many times including this tourney.
We both thought we were out of the running, so we just played a game, smoked a few played some more...

Vs Codex Space Marines

Mission was Pitched Battle, Sieze Ground. We had 5 objectives.
I won the roll and placed 3 on my 'side', 1 in ruin on the left, 1 on hill center, 1 in ruin on right. She had 2 on her 'side', 1 on hill to the left, 1 in ruin on the right. She won the roll to go first and chose the side with 2 objectives. She didn't want to walk around I guess...

The Tourney at Yottaquest went pretty well. There were 17 players, one dropped out so there was a buy each round for a few players. The Tourney was the first for the store and had some 'new' players there as well as some 'veteran' players.

There is a Tourney this Sat...1750 3 rounds, balanced lists. I believe it is a comp event. 

I am still debating on what to bring...

Thousand Sons - Are they worth it?

I don't play Chaos, I am in good with the Emperor and He protects me.
I do however have this uncontrollable urge to examine the merits and qualities of a Thousand Sons Army.
My issue is this, are they worth it? Are they worth putting on the table and only having 5 or so 'units'. Is it another 'elite' army?

Bandwagon or Stay the course?

With the changes coming our way in 2011, do we jump on the Bandwagon and go with Grey Knights, Sisters, Dark Eldar or whatever else shows up?

Well, 2010 is gone and 2011 is here. Therefore a change will be made to my 40K play.
