Yottaquest - 1000 pt Tourney

Yottaquest had a Lazy Sunday 1000 pt Tourney. I took Grey Knights to this one, playtesting some units and basic core of my 1850 list. Performance went better than expected. DrkMorals (Emperor's Codex) and Warmonger accompanied me to the Tourney this time. Great day!

Coteaz, Xenos Inq and DCA ride together resulting in
16 PW attacks at S 6 I 6,
5 FW attacks at I 5 S 5 and
4 NDH attacks at I 1 S 8...
with double hammerhand, psychotroke and rad grenades, they smashed every unit they hit.
Not bad for the points.

Plasma Acolytes...they will do better with Carapace...dying to long range bolter fire is crap. Hell, I might even put 'em in Power Armor! I think adding a non-Acolyte to the unit will benefit them even more. Maybe a single DCA.

Psybacks worked well for the points and did some damage. I will run AssCannons next time to see the difference.

Psyfleman was on par with the Psybacks. I think 2 or 3 up the ante a little more. 1 is just an annoyance.

Vindicare made his points in 2 games within the first 2 rounds. He was a big distractor in all 3 games.

Dreadknight was paydirt for the list in all 3 games. He didn't die and suffered 1 wound all day.

Overall I liked the list, maybe a little light but not bad.

Round 1 vs Necrons (Warmonger)- Spearhead, Seize - Win for me
Round 2 vs Orks (DrkMorals) - Dawn, Capture - Draw
Round 3 vs Necrons - Pitched, Capture - Win for me

I came in 1st place. That's me in the middle.
I was tied with DrkMorals who took Best Painted. He's on the left.
Warmonger took Best Sportsman. He's on the right.
